- ➤ Authorities released the name of the missing kayaker — Marcelus Angelo Rodriguez — after he went over the falls on the Willamette River on April 12th near his family's floating home community in Canemah. Deputies said they have expanded their search to span an 11-mile stretch of the river up to the Sellwood Bridge to bring closure to his family. KPTV

- ➤ Yesterday, Governor Tina Kotek replaced Jessica Kampfe by naming Ken Sanchagrin interim director of the Oregon Public Defense Commission (effective immediately) to address the shortage of defense attorneys for over 4,000 defendants.
