- ➤ Today, the largest craft cidery in the country hosts the 2 Towns Harvest Party—an event set to bring local guests together for a weekend of harvest celebration. KPTV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Oregon started new SNAP rules in Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, Yamhill, Benton — and Hood River on Oct. 1 that require able-bodied adults to work or volunteer 80 hours each month to keep benefits. Governor Kotek said the state will help affected residents find other food support as these changes roll out over the next year. West Linn Tidings

- ➤ At the TRL/PAC Crossover meet held Oct 1 at Clackamas Community College, the Lakeridge boys finished second with 83 points—Lake Oswego ended sixth as senior Chris Hayashi placed seventh in 16:09.23. West Linn Tidings
- ➤ The West Linn football team beat Tigard 42-6 at Tigard High School on Friday, Oct. 3 to move to a 4-0 record — a strong TRL opener. They will host Lakeridge on Oct. 10 — and Tigard will play at Lake Oswego. West Linn Tidings
