School closure

If you're in the Tigard-Tualatin School District, is set to close at the start of the 2028-29 school year, the district said Thursday. It cites declining enrollment that has left several buildings underused. The district says fuller buildings decrease the likelihood of split-grade classes and increase student access to full-time staff who provide physical education, reading instruction and other supports.
